The high-quality lap belt is still the main platform for securing any kind of additional tactical equipment, is the unloading systems part and various modular platforms placement basis. At the same time, the belt rigidity, the its adjustment simplicity and buckle strength are the decisive criteria for its quality.
The belt is the construction based on the classic NATO field belt of the second half of the 20th century. Tactical belt RS-35 is made of dense polyamide belt tape 2.5 mm thick. The belt is fastened with a durable polyamide buckle-fastex manufactured by Duraflex. The belt adjustment is carried out on both sides with the compact steel fasteners-clamps help. The adjustment process itself is quite simple and takes a couple of minutes. When adjusting, the excess belt part on both sides, bends inside the belt while forming a double layer in front of the belt, at the buckle. Even one layer of tape has considerable stiffness, allowing heavy and overall pouches and equipment to be fastened to the belt without any issues.
The belt has a slightly rough texture and holds the pouches and holsters well on hinges, metal clips, etc. Both extreme belt cuts are neatly welded and equipped with foldable, removable swivels with Velcro, which help to tightly fasten the edges to the outer belt surface. The belt has a wide adjustment range corresponding to the entire existing size range.
